Why does Windows warn me?

Windows trusts apps from companies that have bought a security certificate, which costs hundreds of dollars a year. Best Friend Fix is new and small, so we haven't bought one yet. The warning means “we don't recognise this publisher” — not that anything is wrong with the app.

One safety rule: only ever download Best Friend Fix from bestfriendfix.com. If someone sends you a download link from anywhere else, don't install it — no matter who they say they are.
